Description

Joey shares a letter he wrote to the nation-state about a dream that revealed to him evil is not necessary, even the evil that is the nation state. Joey goes on to provide a quick example of how this break up and his change of heart helps him see issues of statecraft differently through an individualist perspective, e.g. the United States’ relationship with Cuba and how lifting economic sanctions is a victory for individual people regardless of nationality. If not for the State, many people would never consider each other enemies or fellow members of a death struggle or suicide pact.
