Does one have to support anarchy to be a principled libertarian? Or can one still be in favor of a small government or limited one.
Second, is it possible to create a system which removes majoritarian rule? I find that this isn’t the case even with anarchy, because groups will form and they will decide on issues like that.
My main problem with anarchy is that even voluntaryism leads to governance of some sort, it just becomes less rigid and more atomized. But I still believe that this would tend towards a coalescing to make trade and defense easier.
So again I ask, out of principled debate, can one be a libertarian who opposes anarchism and still be principled?
