I grew up in South Central Kentucky. My entire education prior to University was in the public school system in my home town. Anarchy wasn’t something that was covered in depth. The few times we did “learn” about it was generally completely different from what I know anarchism to be now.
In public schools I learn that anarchy is the lack of government. It is an unrealistic society that would only lead to chaos, death, looting, etc.
What were you guys taught about anarchy in your education curriculum?
