Here is an interesting report from WSJ: http://www.wsj.com/articles/how-demographics-rule-the-global-economy-1448203724
It’s about the future demographic challenges of the world, in which fewer workers support more children & elderly. It’s interesting, but very importantly (for us) it doesn’t get into the real reasons for this challenge: government policy.
Aside from mentioning China’s one-child policy, it doesn’t talk about anti-development policies like Fabianism in India, or the silly social security & welfare programs of the advanced economies of western Europe, Canada, U.S., etc.
Nevertheless, an interesting read to know what we’re up against on the long-term, especially for you sector investors & entrepreneurs out there.
