When you think of Christmas what song comes to mind?
I seem to listen to Jazz during this holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong etc…..

It's that time of year for Christmas music!

🙂 I love Jazz
Right now I’m reminiscing about a time when I went to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert, it was so much fun!
Also, my parents used to play the Elvis Christmas album all the time growing up.
Great choices, Liz! How did you embed a video, curious minds want to know.
Magic! I just posted the links as is, and they embedded automatically.
It feels a bit early, but we are going to see Mannheim Steamroller this evening.
That Brenda Lee song is wonderful. The December version of Jambalaya.
Thanks, Marchela!
Thanks Roger, I’m going to try to put a song a day until Christmas, add yours if you have a special tune.
“Mary” may be more of an Easter song than a Christmas song, but it comes to mind.
Thanks, I think Mary is an essential part to the Christmas story.
haha, Winter. Whoa, your name is like ‘Christmas’, that’s really amazing and unique. I knew you would do a techno thing.
I almost posted Pentatonix doing The Little Drummer Boy. I like them the way I liked the Bee Gees in the seventies. Can’t deny the talent, but the pop appeal is a little embarrassing.
Oh … what the hell …
I love Pentatonix, I had no idea they had a Christmas album!
I do spreadsheet work to techno music, this will be a nice addition to my playlist 🙂
Remember when Olivia Newton John was 17 years old?
No, neither do I, but here she is as a teenager singing a cheesy Australian song “Christmas Time Down Under”, about how christmas happens during summer in the southern hemisphere.

I remember when she was on my mind under the covers a lot.
My favorite Christmas song from my favorite Phantom (my links don’t seem to embed — oh well)
O Holy Night — Michael Crawford
Hi Leanne, so to do an embedded link, just copy everything from the URL, that’s how it was explained to me, hope that helps. Thanks for the nice song!
I’m a sucker for nostalgic jazz Christmas carols. Cole Porter (found nothing good on youtube) and Sinatra.
Ha, I should have known you like Cole Porter. Nice one, David.
The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
I first heard Amy Grant sing this song, and I still like her version, but Natalie’s recording is the earliest, I think.
I first heard Kelly Clarkson’s version of this song. This one is much better.
You scared me! I had to check and make sure Naomi was still with us. I actually saw the Farewell Concert those many years ago. “Grandpa” is probably my favorite Judds song.
She’s alive and well but doesn’t record much anymore. I also like Wynonna solo, but the duo was incomparable. I never saw them in concert, but I have seen Wynonna. Mom was hotter!
Not a big fan of country music but I have a school girl crush on Johnny Cash.
Pointer Sisters, Amen.
I’ve wasted 48 hours being angry at Trump, while I could have been restored, listening to the Pointer Sisters… Thanks Martin.,
Just unbelievable
Sara Evans is less folksy than Rhonda, but she pulls it off.
I put the Eartha Kitt URL for you Leanne, this is such a classic!
Thx! So should I use something different than the Insert/edit link icon when I want to embed? That’s what I do, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Oh, however you like. I asked and Grant just said if you go to youtube and just copy everything in the address bar then paste it you can embed any video. Hope that helps.
This is totally a Christmas music day. The tree, which we cut down at one of the local Christmas tree farms on the weekend, is now decorated — and tonight we are going to see LeAnn Rimes’s Christmas show.
Wonderful show. Her encore song was a tribute to John Lennon, but I can’t find a version of her singing “This is Christmas” — so this is the original version:
John Lennon “This is Christmas”
