a thought that occurred to me in another forum:
“Which raises an interesting and perhaps overlooked point about the blockchain — it’s a ledger that doesn’t contain any prices. Cryptocurrency prices are the domain of exchanges and individuals; there is no way to scan the blockchain and have any idea what the price of BTC is at any given time.”
I haven’t had time to consider the many ramifications, but I think this might be a big deal; a fundamental difference from most other commodities and stores of value
