    Anthony: I have. I know a lot of people don’t like it, and I think I would agree with them that it wasn’t the strongest out of the Space Trilogy, in terms of narrative. But it was still brilliant. A straightforward look at the “powers and principalities” pulling the strings behind the state, and how people in power don’t know whom they are really serving.

  • So has anybody on here read “That Hideous Strength”? To me it is Lewis’ strongest condemnation of the state and centralized power. He does a great job of showing how bureaucracy clouds both the truth and progress, by hiding behind obscure and official sounding jargon.
