I personally love to read novels, but currently, I am busy in my TOEFL preparation, so currently I am reading The Official Guide to the TOEFL Test and get past papers and from BestMyTest Coupons because its the best ever site for learning, I will also give my test through using their services.

Thanks! One of my favorites is Steven King’s _O)n Writing_:

On the topic of fiction writing, one of the best books I’ve ever read was Dwight Swain’s Techniques of the Selling Writer.  Judging by customer feedback, many people share my opinion of the work.

Rick, I’ve seen Tyler Lloyd and other members offer to help with people’s writing. See here for example: http://lloydtw.liberty.me/2014/08/09/a-personal-mission/

Just by reading your post (and seeing the length) I see you enjoy writing. For me personally I do writing quite often but usually only technical things, which is in a sense more easier if you just put in dry information. When it comes to making something informative and entertaining at the same time I see as much more harder to write.

    Also I see…[Read more]

This makes one wonder if there is sufficient demand for a writers workshop here at liberty.me, where we could review and critisise each other’s work?

David Galland spoke of the importance of writing every day — even for people who have no intention of becoming writers. I agree, though I admit that I had not thought of it before…

My reason is because, contrary to what many people seem to assume, writing is _not_ about arranging words on paper (or screens) according to certain rules in order t…[Read more]

Thanks for the input Lobo, I’m pretty sure that during that kind of time there are plenty of opportunities, I’ll just need to look which ones are worth speculating on. Even following Casey’s subscriber alerts could be very helpful just by looking how the put option trades on gold were doing so far.

Rick is right… But there are some things to look for. If gold gets temporarily slammed by a liquidity crunch in other assets, as happened in 2008, I think it would be a terrific buying opportunity. In general, quality distressed assets might become available for pennies on the dollar. Entities that have taken on too much debt or other leverage…[Read more]

It is impossible to know in advance which assets sell off most sharply, or how the market will work, afterwards. We will have to see what ” cards we are dealt” , and do our best to play them wisely.

So assuming government will be providing liquidity in the same manner as 2008 would you still be favoring more companies which have enough capital that would let them operate irrelevant of available credit, meaning with little or zero debt, Or maybe looking more into some companies which may have great assets but also more debt. Also it would be…[Read more]

It is difficult to forecast what the most over sold assets will be, in a 2008 style sell. Last time around, I figured the sell off set the stage for a real reckoning, a credit squeeze and liquidity crisis. As a consequence I avoided any eneterprise with short term obligations or debt  resets, irrespective of asset quality or valuation. That…[Read more]

Also given this Rick and Lobo is still here, actually I had one question which time run out yesterday and missed it. I’m interested in your opinion, what should one look for given a similar crash as we had in 2008? I’m not asking for any specific company or anything, given similar event, what does a good speculation look like to deploy capital,…[Read more]

So just last parting thoughts, even I’m not going anywhere and intent to learn much more by wandering in liberty.me, I would say learning really is a great experience, especially when you get such teachers as during this week. If this is what school would teach nowadays, than I would be harder to keep me out of school than going to..!

    Also being…[Read more]

So the last talk taught us some interesting history lessons that great people have lived all the time and just by studying them we can use their knowledge even today. Given the opportunities we have today and during their time, I can say we have a much better odds!
