Is the world becoming a freer place? Or are the forces of tyranny getting the upper hand? What can you do to advance liberty at a local or regional level? Come to share your answers to these questions and hear those of others.
Our keynote speaker, Michael Pickens, will address what it takes to develop a successful libertarian movement at the local or regional level. Our second speaker, Michael Scott will give his advice on electoral success and bringing libertarian ideas to a larger audience.
There will also be short speeches by local libertarian candidates on their visions of a freer BC and how they would address particular issues such as healthcare, transportation, the drug crisis, and housing. These will be followed by friendly small group discussions to give feedback on each candidate’s ideas and share alternative solutions.
We’ll end with a social hour with drinks, snacks, and door prizes.
