The Game Has Changed

It is prudent to study your adversary, know his methods, and to proactively counteract them. Currently we are inundated with a massive Statist propaganda program, it is up to the activists of Liberty’s cause to act, not simply discuss. How can we not only stem, but repel, the tide of socialist, totalitarian propaganda and spread the message of freedom to a new generation?

This is another case of David against Goliath. We have all the facts on our side, but statists have all the emotions (fear, envy, jealousy, etc.) and it is playing against us. I once wrote an article on how to discuss inequality with the average folks that might help: http://watchdog.org/214139/income-inequality-persuasion/

I like what you wrote because it basically advocates employing the Socratic Method to help Statists understand the flaws in their own reasoning. I myself have found this helpful in dialoguing with those of different viewpoints. 🙂

I will take a look at it today! You’re right, it’s maddening to hear my peers (who have never been politically active before) talking about how they like Bernie and why is socialism a bad thing and whatnot. All because of the rhetoric used.
